Summer Camp 2008 Offers Fun For Children Of All Interests
Need something fun for your child this summer? Well the Parks and Recreation Department has that perfect place – sign your children up for Summer Camp 2008.
All summer will be filled with fun activities and field trips appropriate for all ages. Limited space is available, pre-registration is required. The city cannot hold spaces by phone.
Registration must be done in person at the Port St. Lucie Community Center at 2195 Airoso Boulevard, across from City Hall. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required at time of registration.
Summer Camp 2008 sites are at Treasure Coast High School, Oak Hammock K-8, St. Lucie West K-8, and Floresta Elementary. The dates are:
- Session 1 June 16-20
- Session 2 June 23-27
- Session 3 June 30-July 3 (no camp on Friday July 4th)
- Session 4 July 7-11
- Session 5 July 14-18
- Session 6 July 21-25
- Session 7 July 28-August 1
- Session 8 August 4-8
All sites offer eight one-week sessions. The fee is $70.10 per child per week/session. A special rate for more than one child in the same family is $65.10 for the second child and $60.10 for the third child. When registering for any session, 100 percent of the fee will be charged. Scholarship applications are available and will be available until all funds are allocated.
For all other sessions to be reserved, 50 percent of payment must be made at time of registration. There will be a $15 refund charge for all camp refunds per session.
