Jr. Basketball Instruction
(Ages 6 & 7)
Learn the basics of basketball in a fun and safe atmosphere. This is not a league. This program is designed to teach basic fundamentals and sills so participants can enter the Jr. Basketball league and prepare to have fun. Fees for this program include a t-shirt and a basketball. Jr. Basketball League
(Ages 8 – 18)
The Jr. Basketball program is a competitive program, which includes playoffs. The league does not keep standings, and all children will be required by league rules to play a specific amount of time. Parents will be required to help coaches in scorekeeping and timekeeping each week during the season. We are always looking for volunteers to coach teams and assist in coaching. Each coach must be certified by the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA). Space is limited. Divisions will be filled on a first come, first serve basis, no positions will be held, unless registration is paid. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate to registration. Registration discounts will be given to 2 or more children within the same household only. In addition, one parent will be required to be a PAYS member. Pizza Jam
(Ages 6 – 12)
It’s that time again!! Pizza Jam will be held on the 4th Friday of each month. This activity is for children 6 – 12 years old. Participants will play basketball games, have contests, and eat PIZZA. Parents are required to register their children the evening of the event at the door. Children will not be allowed to leave until a parent picks them up at 9:00 pm. This is a lock in program….Doors will be locked at 6:30 pm. Parents must bring identification when picking up their child. For more information, please call Demetris Collins at 344-4300.

Special Needs Pizza Jam
(Ages All)
This is an opportunity to come to the gymnasium and enjoy playing some basketball, low impact games, listen to some music & eat PIZZA. This gym time is specifically designated for children and/or adults with their caregivers. Caregivers must stay and participation is greatly encouraged to for repetitions. Birthday Pizza Parties

Schedule your child's birthday party at the Minsky Gym. We provide the fun (structured games), food (8 pizzas), and paper goods (plates, napkins, & cups). Paper goods are plain white.
