The City of Port St. Lucie, the Planning & Zoning Department, and the Public Art Advisory Board are inviting artists and artist teams to submit designs for a wall mural outside City Hall that depicts Port St. Lucie's motto, “A City for All Ages.”
This “Wall @ City Hall” art mural is the first project in the Public Art Advisory Board Master Plan. The artwork should reflect Port St. Lucie's natural resources and green spaces with a special emphasis on the St. Lucie River.
The cement wall serving as the mural canvas measures 12 feet 6 inches by 64 feet 3 inches. The total budget for this project is $12,500 and must include all design costs and costs to the artist.
Design proposals for the “Wall @ City Hall” mural must be received by the Office of Management and Budget no later than 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, 2013. For more details about submission requirements, read the official Request for Proposal.
