Empower a child in Port St. Lucie by providing them with the tools to recognize, avoid and even escape physical harm through the radKIDS® program. The program costs $25 per child. Our goal is to raise $5,000 in 60 days before the summer session starts, to ensure that as many children as possible get the life-saving skills provided in this course. Police asking for public’s help in identifying suspect in theft of fragrences

On March 5, Port St. Lucie Police went to Ulta Beauty Supply at 10740 SW Village Parkway, to investigate a shoplifting case. The manager of the store told police that on this date at around 4:48 pm, a white female entered the store and stole $969 worth of cologne. Read more

Free fishing clinic for kids on Saturday, Feb. 28

Boys and girls ages 6 to 14 are invited to attend a free fishing clinic on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Police Athletic League. Man charged with burglarizing home twice, then attempting to sell items on Craig’s List

On Jan. 31, Port St. Lucie Police arrested Bruce Martin Fong, 39, of S.W. Old Briar Avenue, charging him with two counts of burglary to an unoccupied dwelling, two counts of grand theft, and dealing in stolen property after police detectives set up an undercover sting to purchase the stolen items that Fong listed for sale on Craig’s List. Walmart cashier charged with 10 counts of theft, fraud

On Jan. 14, Port St. Lucie Police Officer Timothy Herring arrested Amanda Lynn Nunez, 19, of S.W. Abisco Road, charging her with 10 counts of grand theft and fraud for allegedly loading pre-paid Visa cards worth $500 a piece, and not paying for the transactions. Read more

On Jan. 8, at 4:40 a.m., Port St. Lucie police officers arrested James Foley Ball, 25, of N.W. Rockbridge Court, charging him with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and resisting an officer without violence after he ran from police who were responding to a vehicle burglary call. Read more
