On Veteran’s Day, 2009, Melinda Fairnot left Hinesville, Georgia to visit friends in Miami, Florida. During her stay in Miami, her Shih Tzu, Rosco, got loose and the search was on. Melinda posted flyers and canvassed the area for Rosco with no luck. A heartbroken Melinda had to abandon her her search for Rosco and returned to Georgia. Read more

Port St. Lucie Police warn residents of Kidnapping Phone Scams

April 27, 2015                     

Port St. Lucie Police has been notified of three incidents of “Kidnapping Phone Scams”. In all cases the victim will receive a call from a blocked or private phone number. After answering the call the victim can hear a girl screaming for help. The caller will tell the victim that he has their family member and will release them if they pay a ransom.
