Police Department’s D.A.R.E. Night Out set for April 11
The Port St. Lucie Police Department is holding its 6th Annual D.A.R.E. Night Out against drugs and violence on Friday, April 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. The event will be held in the Town Square area of Tradition, which is just west of I-95 off Gatlin Boulevard/Tradition Parkway.
There will be music, food and lots of inflatable rides for children. There also will be free pony rides and helicopter rides available for a small fee. The first 1,500 children to show up will get a free pair of L.E.D. lighted sunglasses and a chance to win a home video gaming system.
The cost of the event is just $10 per child and adults are free. All proceeds will go to benefit the Port St. Lucie Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program. For more information, call (772) 398-2770.
