Professional Standards Division

TheProfessional Standards Division is comprised of the following three sections:

• Internal Affairs
• Accreditation and Staff Inspections; and
• Crime Analysis and STARCOM Program (Statistical Tracking, Accountability and Response through Computer Oriented Mapping).

This division is responsible for the investigation of complaints against department employees and volunteers; verification of compliance with department policies, procedures, and required Accreditation standards; staff inspections; and crime analysis and reporting, map production displaying crime locations for coordinated response efforts; and maintenance and coordination of the STARCOM program.
One lieutenant, two sergeants, three full-time and one part-time civilian employee currently staff the Professional Standards Division. Clicking the links listed below can access expanded details on each section's function.
Administrative Assistant Theresa Gray currently provides division office management and support, assisting division members in numerous duties and functions.
