Wastewater Treatment Facilities

The Wastewater Treatment facilities are responsible for the proper treatment and disposal of wastewater.  There are three wastewater facilities with varying methods of treatment and disposal.  Reuse water, or highly treated effluent, is produced at the Southport plant for use by neighboring golf communities.  This division must conform to stringent permits, and regulatory and reporting requirements, on a daily basis. This division currently consists of 14 employees.
