Water Treatment Facilities

The Water Treatment facilities are responsible for the treatment and distribution of safe, quality drinking water. There are two water treatment facilities that are interconnected and distribute combined product water. The start-up of the new reverse osmosis plant has been completed and the Water Division is producing high quality blended water. Two remote pumping stations are operated by this division, and a third remote station will soon be under construction. The division is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of the water meters and backflow preventer inspection and repair. This division must conform to stringent permits, and regulatory and reporting requirements, on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis. This division currently consists of 16 employees.
