Treasure Coast High School students welcomed special visitors- Detective Suzanne Clouchete and her K-9 partner Murphy (goldendoodle) from Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Detective Clouchete had an opportunity to visit the Criminal Justice Academy (Mr. Rios’ class) and several other classes. She graciously introduced K-9 Murphy to the students. The students learned K-9 Murphy is a “therapy dog” utilized by the O.C.S.O. Crimes Against Children’s Unit. K-9 Murphy is frequently called upon to relieve anxiety, sadness, and fear in cases involving children. The students interacted with K-9 Murphy as he put smiles on their faces. It was a pleasure to have them visit TCHS.
Thank you Detective Clouchete for your visit, sharing awareness and showing off an incredible resource.
