PSL launches paperless agenda management system
PORT ST. LUCIE – Citizens now have access to the City’s new, paperless agenda system through an easy-to-use link on the homepage of Port St. Lucie’s City website.
To increase open government and transparency for residents, the City of Port St. Lucie has transitioned to the new completely digital agenda management system called Legistar. The new system is now live for City Council regular and special meeting agendas and backup information beginning with the June 10 meeting.
Residents will be able to use the new system to access City Council meeting agendas, minutes and videos, full-reporting features, and other improvements all in one place, making access to this information more convenient and user-friendly. Boards and committees will be added to the system in the coming months.
Residents can access the new system by:
- Visiting www.cityofpsl.com/agendas or visit www.cityofpsl.com and click on the “agendas” icon on the bottom of the page.
- Choose one of three buttons: Council meetings from June 2019 forward (the new system); Council meetings from June 2017 to May 2019 (old system); or Boards and Committees. The Boards and Committees button includes the Governmental Finance Corporation (GFC), Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and Retreats.
- If using the new system, users should then click the “agenda” or “agenda packet” links to access the documents. Please note that by selecting the agenda packet option, the agenda downloads as one document and may take time to load.
- Those who click “agenda,” can click the hyperlinks on each item to view the “history” of the item or the “text” for the agenda memo.
