What: Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful (KPSLB) invites residents to safely dispose of sensitive documents at the upcoming Community Shred Event. This free drive-thru event offers Port St. Lucie residents a convenient way to protect personal information while supporting a cleaner, greener community.

When: Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 8-10 a.m.

Where: Port St. Lucie High School, 1201 SE Lennard Road.

Why: At this year’s Citizen Summit, residents asked for more opportunities for safe and secure document disposal. We listened, and we’re making it happen. This free, drive‑thru Community Shred Event gives Port St. Lucie residents a safe way to dispose of sensitive documents. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed. There is a limit of two banker‑size boxes per vehicle, and boxes will be returned after emptying. The event could end early if capacity is reached. Prohibited items include commercial business materials, batteries, electronics, X‑rays, CDs and DVDs, plastic sheet protectors, binder clips and three‑ring binders.

The event is open to Port St. Lucie residents only. The shredding service supports the City’s efforts to promote identity‑theft prevention and responsible document disposal.
