All park open spaces are available for passive recreational use (i.e. walking, jogging, picnics, etc.), in alignment with CDC guidelines for social distancing and groups under 10, from sunrise to sunset daily.
Until further notice, all recreational programming and activities are suspended until further notice. The City prohibits organized/group play in groups of 10 or more, to ensure alignment with current CDC Social Distancing Guidelines. Organized/group play is defined as any sport or recreational activity that includes the participation of 10 or more individuals within close proximity. Examples of these sports or recreational activities include (but are not limited to): basketball, baseball, cricket, football, soccer, softball, volleyball, etc.

Even long-term residents might be surprised to learn that Port St. Lucie boasts over 40 unique parks and recreational facilities, all offering endless opportunities to relax, play, exercise, learn, or enjoy the Florida sunshine. The Parks & Recreation Department is proud to facilitate a variety of special events that residents look forward to year round. In connection with these events and other activities, there are a number of great sponsorship and volunteer opportunities available to businesses and individuals alike.
We've made it easy for you to browse online for classes and programs offered by the Parks and Recreation Department. You can also register and pay for classes and programs online, or if you prefer, come into one of our recreational facilities and a staff member will be glad to assist you.
Leisure Time Magazine

Leisure Time Magazine is a bi-annual catalog of events, programs, and classes hosted by the Parks & Recreation Department. This is a free magazine that can be found at any of the City's facilities. A digital copy can be viewed by visiting www.cityofpsl.com/leisuretime.
The City is proud of its beautiful and extensive park system, with over 40 parks and recreational facilities that offer a wide variety of leisure activities to residents and visitors of all ages. The interactive parks map shows the location of all City parks, along with links to pages containing the address, hours, size and amenities offered at each park.
The City operates several recreation facilities, which are available to rent, and offer residents unique recreational, educational and cultural opportunities. Many of the programs and events at these facilities are free and open to the public.

Make memories at Bonfire and Hayride at McCarty Ranch
This Port St. Lucie tradition is held every February but, due to popular demand, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department has added a new fall date in 2018. Spend the day at McCarty Ranch Preserve for this annual event that is fun for the whole family. Admission, parking and activities are FREE.

Junior Basketball Volunteer Coaches Needed!
With the continued expansion of the Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation Junior Basketball Program, Volunteer Head and Assistant Coaches, and Volunteer Scorekeepers are needed more than ever. Nearly 900 players ages 6 to 17 participate in this program year round.
