Designed and developed in 1961, The Saints, along with its sister course The Sinners, became known as the Port St. Lucie Country Club. Throughout the following few decades, between the two courses, sport and entertainment moguls enjoyed playing golf in Port St. Lucie. Among these famous icons to enjoy golf at the Club were Perry Como, Jerry Lewis, Margaret Trudeau, Joe DiMaggio and “The King of Cool” himself, Dean Martin. The course has played host to legendary golfers Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Sam Snead, and Mickey Wright.
The City of Port St. Lucie purchased The Saint Golf Course in 2001, and since that time, the City has maintained the facility as a championship golf course. On several occasions, The Saints has been voted as the “Best Public Golf Course, ” by Hometown News. Since the orginal purchase of the course in 2001, the City has recognized The Saints as a true community asset and looks to continually evolve the facility as a premier destination for golfers of all ages. The Saints offers an 18-hole championship golf course, extensive practice area and excellent dining facilities
