Residential Review and Permitting
The Residential permitting process begins in the Public Works Department. For all Residential electronic submittals to the Public Works Department, see the Single Sign-On Video or the Single Sign-On User Guide
for instructions. Surveys are required to have 3rd party verification for signatures. Login to Single Sign-On by visiting reg.cityofpsl.com.
The following is a list of residential permits:
- New construction
- Driveway modification, driveway addition, and culvert replacement
- Swimming pool
- Revocable encroachment
- Abandonment of easement
Commercial Review and Permitting
The Regulatory Division is responsible for the review, permitting, and inspection coordination of commercial and residential projects. Additionally, the division oversees the grant program for the identification, design, construction, and inspection of sidewalks within the city. The Regulatory Division staff also assists in supporting the Capital Improvements Division.
