Check for regulations with the Building Department before you construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, remove, convert, demolish, equip or change approved use of a building or structure in Port St. Lucie because a permit may be required.
Impact Fees
The City collects impact fees for both City and county government for new developments and changes in use, where applicable. When a building changes use and/or occupancy it may incur additional impact fees.

Signage
Signs for your new business must comply with codes. Before designing and purchasing signs, please review the City’s Sign Code.
In St. Lucie West, you will need approval by the St. Lucie West Commercial or Industrial Association:
