Free Skate Lessons & Silkscreen Banner Unveiling

Celebrate creativity, community and skate culture at Whispering Pines Park!

On Sunday, Aug. 2 from 4-9 p.m., St. Lucie Skaters and the Love Your Block program invite residents to the unveiling of a custom‑designed silkscreen privacy fence banner along the chain‑link fences at Skate City in Whispering Pines Park, a vibrant addition created to reduce noise for neighboring homes and enhance the area with public art.

Free skate lessons will be offered during the event, giving beginners and experienced skaters a chance to sharpen their skills and enjoy the park together. Volunteers from Nature’s Keeper will install trees beside the benches, adding shade and enhancing the beauty of the shared space.

Inspired to pitch in? Volunteer opportunities, such as planting trees, are available for those who want to help support the windscreen installation and make this celebration even more meaningful.
