The Neighborhood Services Department’s Community Programs Division has released the Draft 2026 State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program Annual Report for fiscal year 2023/2024.

The report highlights key accomplishments and activities from the past year, detailing the department’s ongoing efforts to support and expand affordable homeownership opportunities.

The draft report will be open for public comment for a two‑week period, running from Aug. 23, 2026, through Sept. 6, 2026.

Residents can read the report online(PDF, 258KB) or view a physical copy by visiting the Neighborhood Services Department at City Hall, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd.

About the SHIP Program: The SHIP Program is administered by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and provides funding to local governments to encourage partnerships that create and preserve affordable homeownership. SHIP dollars are distributed on an entitlement basis to all 67 Florida counties and 52 Community Development Block Grant entitlement cities.
