Public meeting held for Bayshore Boulevard project

What: Residents had an opportunity to learn more about a project that will improve the NW Bayshore Boulevard corridor from Prima Vista Boulevard to NW Selvitz Road. The project will include improvement opportunities for drivers, bikers and pedestrians along the 1.3-mile corridor.

When: Tuesday, April 29, 5-7 p.m.

Where: City Hall Council Chambers, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd., Building A.

Why: Residents were able to review and provide feedback on proposed improvements for Bayshore Boulevard. Those include options for a three-lane and four-lane roadway as well as inclusion of a roundabout at the intersection of NW Floresta Drive and NW Bayshore Boulevard.

 

The presentation began at 5:30 p.m. followed by a question-and-answer session. 

Residents also reviewed board displays for the project and asked questions directly to City staff and the construction project team.
