City hosts pop-up community cleanup at Turtle Run Park

What: Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful invites residents to participate in the City’s first pop-up cleanup event.
When: Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8-10 a.m.
Where: Turtle Run Park, 1945 SW Cameo Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34953
Why: The event is part of the Greatest American Cleanup, a national movement organized by Keep America Beautiful. It reflects the City of Port St. Lucie’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and community pride.
Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to join this neighborhood effort.
Schedule of events:
- 8 a.m.: Volunteer check-in and supply pickup at the pavilion.
- 8:30 a.m.: Safety meeting and group photo. Volunteers will receive cleanup supplies and suggested locations.
- Neighborhoods included in this cleanup are Cashmere Cove, Palm Trails and Oak Hammock.
- 8:30 a.m.: Cleanup begins.
- 9:30 a.m.: Volunteers return with supplies and collected litter.
All collected litter will be weighed and properly disposed of by KPSLB following the event.
