City hosts workshops on public building fees & engineering standards
Published on July 11, 2025
The City of Port St. Lucie will host public workshops where residents and stakeholders can discuss and provide input on revisions for:
- Public building impact fees for new development and/or redevelopment. These impact fees are used to help fund public infrastructure and services needed to support growth. These fees ensure that the City can maintain quality services for residents and are not paid for through tax dollars.
- Engineering standards. These establish guidelines for public infrastructure, utilities and construction to ensure safety, efficiency and sustainability.
This is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide input before a public hearing scheduled in August.
Meetings will be held in person at City Hall in the City Council Chambers, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. A virtual option will be available for workshops unless otherwise noted and participants must preregister to attend virtually.
