Family, fun and festivities at Ohana Night
Published on August 26, 2025
In Hawaii, “ohana” is a concept that family goes beyond people you’re related to. Your ohana can be relatives, but it also can be close friends or chosen family. Ohana embodies a sense of belonging, unity and shared joy that creates lasting memories together.
On Sept. 13, the City of Port St. Lucie will host an event to bring together ohana for a night of fun, food and family. The inaugural Ohana Night will feature family-friendly tropical games, hula dance lessons, light refreshments, face painting and goodie bags for everyone.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance by visiting the website, or in person at the event.
All ages are welcome. Bring your family, whatever it looks like, to celebrate community, connection and the spirit of ohana.
When: Saturday, Sept. 13 from 5-7 p.m.
Where: Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 SE Airoso Blvd.
Cost: $10 plus tax per person
