As hurricane season approaches, the City of Port St. Lucie is hosting its annual Hurricane Preparedness Expo – a free, family-friendly event designed to connect the community with businesses, emergency providers and essential resources to prepare for extreme weather.

The Expo takes place Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, located at 9221 SE Event Center Place in Port St. Lucie.

The event will feature informative presentations from meteorologists, emergency managers, City staff and local organizations, all focused on ensuring residents have the knowledge and tools needed for hurricane readiness. That includes:

  • Expert presentations: Hear from meteorologists and emergency professionals on storm preparedness.
  • Exhibitor hall: Explore booths from local government partners, businesses and vendors specializing in storm shutters, impact windows, tree maintenance, water damage restoration, roofing, gutters and more.
  • Interactive and fun activities: Enjoy family-friendly events, an interactive photo booth and a raffle with prizes that can assist with storm preparation.
