National Night Out returns for an evening of community fun

Join us for an unforgettable evening at The Port District on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 5:30 - 8 p.m. as we celebrate National Night Out, the ultimate block party with a purpose!

This free, family‑friendly event unites neighbors and first responders for an evening of games, activities, safety tips and a special meet‑and‑greet with PSLPD’s newest K9 officer. Hosted in partnership with the Port St. Lucie Police Department, this annual gathering celebrates community spirit and strengthens neighborhood safety in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

  • Get to know the newest police dog, Dexter, and meet his dedicated handler
  • Enjoy special presentations by a variety of PSLPD units, including the K9 Unit, SWAT Team, Crime Scene Investigation, Explorer Post 411, Animal Control, School Resource Officers, Honor Guard, Traffic Unit, Drones, Police Athletic League, Marine Unit, School Crossing Guards, Recruiting Department and Crisis Negotiations Team
  • Learn how to start a new career or volunteer with the PSLPD

National Night Out is more than just another event; it's an opportunity to unite, have fun, raise awareness about crime and drug prevention and show support for local anti-crime programs.
