Food lovers will have plenty to celebrate when The Grove, a new riverfront dining destination at The Port District, is completed in early 2027.

Located along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, The Grove will feature a total of seven venues offering a variety of full-service dining, casual food offerings, as well as curated bar experiences.

At the City of Port St. Lucie Community Redevelopment Agency meeting on June 23, representatives from SūDā, which is developing the riverfront restaurants element of The Port District, announced a partnership with nationally acclaimed hospitality company Atlas Restaurant Group.

Construction on the first phase of the project, which will include three dining venues and two bars, is scheduled to begin September 2025 with an estimated opening date of February 2027. The second phase will offer two additional casual dining venues, with construction expected to begin once phase one is operational.

“The Grove is designed to be a fun, welcoming place where people can enjoy great food, connect with friends and family, and take in the beauty of the river,” said Jennifer Davis, Community Redevelopment Agency Director for the City of Port St. Lucie. “We’re excited to bring these innovative dining experiences to residents that will continue to make The Port District a vibrant waterfront destination.”

The five venues debuting in phase one include:

  • Salt River, a St. Lucie River Gastronomy: A coastal-inspired dining experience including rooftop dining overlooking the river.
  • Italian Disco: A pizzeria, bar and restaurant infusing old-school flavor and modern energy.
  • Kannon: Offering a bold menu that features sushi, bento boxes and fresh Japanese cuisine crafted with precision and artistry.
  • The Grove Bar: Showcasing local craft beers and signature cocktails, surrounded by lush landscaping.
  • Tequi Bar: A bold take on the traditional tiki bar, specializing in artisan, tropical drinks with a tequila twist.

The Atlas Restaurant Group, which operates more than 56 restaurants nationwide, will operate The Grove venues.

The Port District, which opened June 2024, is Port St. Lucie’s unique riverfront destination. It features Pioneer Park – an imaginative, interactive playground for children – as well as an event lawn, overwater stage, and a canoe and kayak launch. A boardwalk meanders along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River and walking trails will soon be available to enjoy in a wooded preserve at the southern portion of The Port District.

The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens and Port St. Lucie History Museum and Education Center are both located nearby, affording patrons additional opportunities to experience a variety of activities all in one location.
