Port St. Lucie honors fallen heroes with a Memorial Day tribute

Join us on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park for a heartfelt Memorial Day service honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. The City of Port St. Lucie will provide a tribute to recognize and commemorate the fallen heroes of all generations.

Where: Veterans Memorial Park, 2100 SE Veterans Memorial Parkway, Port St. Lucie.
Why: The City of Port St. Lucie welcomes the community to gather in remembrance and reflection as we pay tribute to those who bravely served our nation. This meaningful Memorial Day Service is dedicated to honoring their sacrifice and ensuring their legacy lives on.
Attendees will hear from distinguished speakers, including retired Col. Jon Schiff, U.S. Army, who will share heartfelt stories and reflections on the importance of honoring our fallen heroes. The service will feature stirring musical performances, including “God Bless America” and an armed forces medley by the Port St. Lucie Community Band. Guests will also witness solemn traditions, such as a rifle salute, the national anthem, and the poignant sounding of taps.
Councilwoman Stephanie Morgan and Councilman David Pickett will be among the local leaders in attendance, with John Ramos, U.S. Army, leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
As seating is limited, early arrival is encouraged, and attendees may bring a chair.
