St. Lucie West Blvd and NW Peacock Blvd Intersection Workshop

What: The City of Port St. Lucie is inviting residents to join us for coffee and learn more about the upcoming improvements to the St. Lucie West Boulevard and NW Peacock Boulevard intersection. Meet the project team, including the contractor and City of Port St. Lucie staff, to discuss planned improvements and how they will benefit the community.

When: Monday, May 5, 8-10 a.m.

Where: South County Regional Stadium, 560 NW University Blvd., Port St. Lucie (across from Clover Park, the St. Lucie Mets stadium).

Why: Residents are encouraged to ask questions and explore the advantages of upcoming intersection improvements. Key enhancements include:

• Upgraded sidewalks, improved drainage, and enhanced landscaping.
• Additional lanes designed to optimize traffic flow and access to Interstate 95, such as:
  • A third westbound travel lane that will connect directly to the I-95 North on-ramp.
  • Expansion of NW Peacock Boulevard from NW Courtyard Circle to St. Lucie West Boulevard, featuring:
  • A third northbound lane that transitions into a dedicated right-turn lane at NW Courtyard Circle.
  • A third southbound lane that serves as a second right-turn lane at St. Lucie West Blvd.

These improvements aim to create a more efficient and accessible roadway for residents and commuters. The construction is scheduled to commence in May 2025, with completion anticipated by Spring 2026.
