Naturally PSL Conservation Corps

Our Conservation Corps is at the heart of this movement, offering opportunities for residents to lead and participate in the stewardship of our natural environment.

We aim to activate green spaces by transforming city-owned parcels and enhancing residents' access to nature. Volunteer opportunities empower community members to become stewards of Port St. Lucie's green spaces. Partnerships with community members, businesses, and organizations are key to sustaining and activating our public and green spaces.

Who are we looking for?

Everyone! Whether you are already part of an existing volunteer group through Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful, individuals looking for one-time or short-term, or community experts who wish to contribute their knowledge on plants, animals, or photography during a guided walk, we have a place for you!

Become a volunteer: Busy individuals or a group who want to make a difference in their community through are welcomed to sign up as ‘extra hands’ for our projects (community clean-ups, plantings, exotic removal, murals). No long-term commitment or training is required.

Adopt-a-greenspace: Provided a committed site, individuals, civic groups or organizations help maintain and promote the greenspaces through projects such as monthly clean-ups, education talks, guided walks, or other beautification projects.

Sign up to co-create our Naturally PSL ambassador program with us: Individuals or groups with specialized knowledge in areas like plants, birds, wildlife, art or neighborhood context are welcomed to help monitor and document the conditions of an adopted greenspace and host education sessions and workshops on a regular basis.
