St. Lucie County’s Area Regional Transit (ART) is temporarily changing the location of the route 6 bus stop at SE Floresta Drive and SE Cavern Avenue and SE Floresta Drive and SE Verada Avenue effective Monday, March 23, due to road construction being performed by the City of Port St. Lucie.

The route 6 bus will not stop at the following locations during this time: S.E. Floresta Drive at S.E. Cavern Avenue and SE Floresta Drive at SE Verada Avenue. Instead, there will be a temporary bus stop at the intersection of S.E. Preston Lane and Crosstown Parkway. Riders who usually use the stop at S.E. Floresta Drive and S.E. Verada Avenue are advised to go to the stop at S.E. Floresta Drive and Prima Vista Boulevard. Once the road construction on Floresta Drive is completed, route 6 will return to its normal route.

Administered by St. Lucie County’s Transit Department, ART is a fare-free, award-winning public transit system that serves the cities of Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie Village, and the unincorporated areas of St. Lucie County. To learn more, please visit www.slcart.org or call 772-462-1778.
