Learn how to stay informed, be prepared and stay safe before a storm at Port St. Lucie’s Hurricane Preparedness Expo!

Join local meteorologists, City officials and businesses for a family-friendly event filled with expert guidance and essential hurricane preparedness tips.

The Expo takes place on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. Councilman David Pickett will kick off the Expo’s opening ceremonies.

What to expect:

• Expert Insights: Learn from four engaging presentations featuring hurricane preparedness specialists:
  • 10:30 a.m.: WPBF Channel 25’s Chief Certified Meteorologist Cris Martinez, Meteorologist Vanessa Vinent and Meteorologist Brooke Silverang
  • 11:15 a.m.: Emergency management panel discussion
  • 12:15 p.m.: St. Lucie County Fire District
  • 1:00 p.m.: WPEC Channel 12 presentation  
• Exhibitor Hall: Explore vendor booths featuring storm protection solutions, tree maintenance, roofing, gutters, water damage restoration and more.
• Fun Activities: Enjoy a photo booth, scavenger hunt, raffle prizes donated by Lowe’s and Home Depot and giveaways.
