Get to know Port St. Lucie at City University

What: The City of Port St. Lucie is offering a free, nine-session course designed to educate residents about their local government. Participants will gain valuable insights into City operations and have the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion, with the option to become a City Ambassador. Space is limited to 100 participants.

When: Registration opens Monday, July 21. Classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 20. Classes are held every Wednesday from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: Council Chambers at City Hall, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd.

Why: This initiative empowers residents by providing an in-depth understanding of municipal functions, fostering civic engagement and strengthening connections between the City and its community. Since this program started in 2016, more than 600 residents have participated.

Residents who cannot attend in person can access City U on Demand for flexible learning options.
