The City of Port St. Lucie is launching a series of free sessions on several major topics impacting the community including three initiatives Port St. Lucie voters will see on the Nov. 3 ballot.

This series is designed to provide information and create an open forum for residents to ask questions, learn about upcoming decisions and share input on topics that directly affect services, quality of life and future planning.

Each session will cover:

• The City’s proposed budget, which will be adopted at the end of September.
• The Amendment 3 initiative that, if passed by 60 percent of Florida voters, would increase homestead property exemptions for non-school taxes.
• A referendum to renew the Half‑Cent Sales Tax in St. Lucie County, which would continue to provide funding for critical infrastructure projects. The current sales tax was approved by voters in 2018 and is set to expire in 2028.

• Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026 at 6 p.m. – Indian River State College, Pruitt Campus, 500 NW California Blvd.
• Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026 at 6 p.m. – City Hall, Council Chambers, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd.
