Village Green Drive Corridor Revitalization
About
The Village Green Drive Corridor Revitalization Project is a transformative initiative designed to create a vibrant, connected and welcoming gathering place for the community.
Improvements to Village Green Drive and the surrounding areas will improve connectivity, accessibility and aesthetics between Crosstown Parkway and the key economic, community and healthcare hubs along this corridor.
This revitalization effort reflects the community’s vision for an enhanced corridor.
Master Plan
In June 2021, the City Council approved the Village Green Drive Master Plan, shaped by extensive community input through workshops and surveys. The plan envisions:
- Complete streets are designed to be safe, efficient and accessible for drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists
- Shaded sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes
- Public spaces for events, gatherings and art installations
- Improved traffic flow and safety features
