The City Convenient Drop-Off Center is your go-to spot for responsibly discarding unwanted items like furniture, appliances, small electronics, flattened cardboard and exercise equipment. Please have your ID or proof of residence when dropping off items.
Notice: Effective Jan. 5, 2026, the City will permanently close the center due to declining usage and the financial impact of keeping the site operational. Read more below:
Items accepted
- Flattened cardboard
- Furniture (indoor/outdoor)
- Appliances (refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, etc.)
- Exercise equipment
- Small electronics (televisions, computers, and other electronics)
Items not accepted
Users with unacceptable items will be turned away and no part of the load (including fruit) will be accepted.
- Construction debris
- Yard waste
- Household trash, including bagged or loose items like clothing, paper, food, etc.
- Hazardous materials such as paint, propane tanks, etc.
- Automotive, boat, RV, or trailer parts including tires
- Any gas-powered equipment that must have fuel drained
Equipment Restrictions
- Only trailers 8 feet or under
- Larger vehicles with excessive amounts of debris will be turned away
- No box trucks
FAQ
Can I bring home renovation debris to the drop-off site?
No, home renovation materials are not accepted at this location. However, you can:
- Place up to 2 cubic yards of containerized renovation debris at the curb on your scheduled bulk collection day, or
- Haul the materials directly to the landfill for proper disposal.
- Schedule an additional bulk waste pickup at a rate of $18.50 per cubic yard. To schedule additional pickup or request an estimate, call 1PSL at 772-871-1775 and press 5. Alternatively, residents can use any disposal service of their choice and schedule a pickup at their convenience.
