As Thanksgiving approaches, the City reminds residents of changes to the solid waste collection schedule:→ Monday, Nov. 24, through Wednesday, Nov. 26, will be collected as scheduled. → No collection services on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27; landfill is closed.→ Thursday’s customers will be picked up Friday, Nov. 28.→ Friday’s customers will be picked up Saturday, Nov. 29.

Q: Can I retire a flag from another country? A: We accept only official U.S. flags. For other national flags, please contact your embassy or local cultural center.
Q: Are there any fees? A: No. Our program is entirely free, funded by volunteers and community grants.
Q: What happens after I drop off my flag? A: Volunteers collect flags weekly and conduct respectful retirement ceremonies by fire, in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.
