To maintain a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look throughout the city, we have chosen a single official Little Free Library model for all installations. The cost for each Little Free Library, including the model and installation, is $603.31. This investment ensures durability, weather resistance, and registration on the Little Free Library world map, making it easy for residents to locate and enjoy.

For those who wish to add a personal touch, we also invite community members to build and decorate their own Little Free Library. Your creativity can shine as you design a unique library that reflects your personality or honors a special theme. To ensure that these libraries remain consistent with the city’s program and standards, we ask that custom designs be pre-approved by the City of Port St. Lucie before installation. This process helps maintain a sense of harmony while still celebrating individuality and creativity.

Payment Method: For those opting for the official Little Free Library model, please make your check payable to the City of Port St. Lucie. Your contributions will help us maintain consistent and welcoming libraries that foster a sense of unity and community pride across Port St. Lucie.

Are you passionate about promoting literacy and engaging with your community? Join our team of dedicated volunteers to help maintain our Little Free Libraries! As a Little Free Library Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping these literary resources in excellent condition for everyone to enjoy.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular bi-weekly inspections
• Monitor and restock book inventories
• Handle minor cleaning and repairs
• Document and report any significant issues

1. Log into 1PSL

   • Navigate to the 1PSL login page using the button above.

   • Enter your username and password to log in to your account.

2. Navigate to the "Parks and Recreation Inquiry" Section

   • Once logged in, locate the "Parks and Recreation Inquiry" option in the main menu and click on it.

3. Select "Request Maintenance for Little Free Library"

   • From the options available, choose "Request Maintenance for Little Free Library."

   • Fill out any required details such as the library's location, description of maintenance needed, and any additional notes.

4. Submit Your Request

   • After filling out the necessary information, review your request for accuracy.

   • Click the "Submit" button to send your maintenance request.
