Torino Regional Park will become a 195‑acre destination designed to bring people together through sports, nature and community.

The City held an official groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025.
Developed with extensive community input, Torino Regional Park is set to become the largest park in the City. It has been designed with a “Play Forest” concept, drawing inspiration from Florida’s natural beauty.
The park will include amenities for individuals of all ages. Features will include a playground with unique forest-themed “pods,” as well as an interactive water feature designed for different ages and abilities—allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of nature‑inspired play experiences.
The first phase of development is laying the foundation for future amenities and infrastructure.

The City invited residents to participate in a survey and attend input meetings to help shape the design of the future skate park at Torino Regional Park. Meetings were held at the Port St. Lucie Community Center on Dec. 4 and 18, 2024; Jan. 15, 2025; and Nov. 12, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Torino Regional Park was initially designed and permitted in 2007. Building on insights from the original design, the project team engaged the public through meetings and surveys in 2023. As a result, a new conceptual master plan for the park was developed and completed in early 2024.
